From time to time people ask me for the patterns for an item I’ve made. Yikes!! I usually just design as I go. Even if I use a pattern, I tend to tweak it along the way–adding a little, changing a little. I guess I’m just not a rigid, by-the-book kind of gal.
But, I do remember what it was like being a beginner, trying to follow those written instructions. Oh, how I remember! I struggled and grumbled and gnashed my teeth! It took me literally years to become a decent crocheter! But these days, freeform is my favorite way to go.
Still, I would like to share some of my patterns here, so I will do my best to take notes as I work, and get things written down in some understandable fashion. So, bear with me…. and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll do my best to answer them.
